Photo Presentation: 3/5 Overall Creativity: 9/15 High Fashion: 6/10 Judge's Preference: 5/10 Total: 29/50 Loving the colors in this and the radial blur is a great choice. It pulls your eyes directly to your model. Nina’s posed nicely and her makeup looks wonderful (from what I can see), but unfortunately it all fell short for me. Just plopping Nina onto a background didn’t show much creativity and there are LOTS of jagged edges from where she’s been cut out. I also think the image should have been a lot bigger so that we could see detail in her face ~ as is, it’s a bit blurry and poor quality. I understand this was a tough assignment, but I’m just a bit let down overall. |

Photo Presentation: 3/5 Overall Creativity: 9/15 High Fashion: 6.5/10 Judge's Preference: 5/10 Total: 30.5/50 So I'll be honest with you, I'm kind of underwhelmed by this in a way. I think the colors are fantastic, though. The picture is really small and hard to see details, unless I used the kind of stretched version... but I can see a lot of choppy white bits where you cut her out. You'd have gotten a higher score on presentation particularly if Nina wasn't just floating above the background and was maybe standing on a reflective floor or a lit-up disco floor, some kind of something to say she's not just pasted in. I love radial motion blur effects well enough but there's not really anything to focus on for background interest. As for high fashion, Nina looks very girl-next-door, particularly her dress, hair, and pose. High fashion is kind of like out there, a bit. Or extremely visually interesting in some way. The posing suits more a body-shot for a portfolio of a model but not for an actual fashion shot because there's not really much that's dynamic or eye-catching about it. So just try to watch your fashion and the removal of your sim from her background. Very nice job on the colors particularly though. Remember that practicing your editing skills can do wonders and that even if your quality isn't as good as some others, you can totally blow judges away by making everything else really interesting and eye-catching. |

Photo Presentation: 3/5 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 6/10 Total: 36/50 I really like the colors in this shot. They are beautiful and very bright. I think your motion blur is unique and definitely makes me want to look at your model, so kudos. Cecilia is beautifully styled and her makeup is wonderful. My issue here is with how you pasted her onto the background. It’s not super creative and makes her just look like a floating model in a sea of swirly colors. I would have liked some sort of floor for her to be standing on. Her pose is nice, but the hands are definitely awkwardly stiff. But, for the most part you did what was asked. |

Photo Presentation: 4/5 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 7/10 Judge's Preference: 6.5/10 Total: 35.5/50 I am so in love with the colors you used in this picture. The background is also really cool to look at. It's so dynamic and without a pattern so it looks like it's really moving. Gah, I love it. So I took off a bit from quality and presentation for Floating Sim Syndrome. That's one of the things that kind of irks me. I wish there was a floor, or otherwise that she was floating in a way that says "Hey, I'm floating, not just pasted on and still." It'd have been cool to have her kind of flailing in a high fashion way with the motion of the background. And I know it's not easy to re-draw fingers, but it can be done, and here it'd have been pretty easy to redo the tips of her fingers where the shirt cut them off. The top is pretty high fashion, I guess, but the rest (other than the top and makeup) is very much fashion the girl-next-door wears. Remember that high fashion is something you'd see on a runway at Fashion Week, or in a magazine... or Lady Gaga lol. Cuffed shorts don't cut it, though that said I'd like a pair of those irl. Anyway you hit a lot of good stuff and missed a lot, but I think you hit more than you missed. |

Photo Presentation: 3/5 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 6/10 Total: 34.5/50 First thing – love the two colors you chose to focus on and I love the pose you put Lexx into. It’s a great choice and could have had some seriously great results. I also adore the diagonal blur background. What I’m not a fan of is the glow and paint splatter. I’ve done this before as a novice move to hide the choppy edges from being cut out of her original background – it’s not doing the photo any favors. Finally…your model is just pasted onto the background. She should be sitting on the floor – a reflective one would have been awesome. You weren’t the only one to do this, so don’t think you’re alone, but it is a no-no. Give your photo an actual setting! |

Photo Presentation: 4/5 Overall Creativity: 11/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 5.5/10 Total: 35.5/50 I think this photo could have done without the splatter effect and that weird glow around Lexx. The splatter just kind of looks like when I used to use MS Paint in 1992, to be honest. It'd be kinda cool though if you made them scatter like actually diagonally motion-blurred them with the filter. I really do like the styling. I'ts very 90s, so I hope that's what you were going for (would explain the splatters XD) Just kind of wish the makeup was more out there to kind of enhance the whole high fashion thing. There's a lot on Lexx that's kind of blurred out a lot, particularly the hand that's on her shoe, and her face x.x Kind of wish she had something to sit on, a floor, a chair, something, to get her out of the Floating Sim Syndrome realm. But yeah, all that said, this is kinda cool. |

Photo Presentation: 8/5 Overall Creativity: 13/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 8/10 Total: 45.5/50 I really loved this idea. I thought you did a fabulous job of showing motion in your image and the swinging glow-stick was unique! I do, however, think that this would have rocked a bit more with some minor changes ~ 1) get rid of the 2nd Nina. Use the one on the right (because I like that pose best) and remove the one on the left. 2) get rid of the word “neon” and instead give us a funky background that ends about where that line is so that it looks like she’s in a club and actually standing on the ground. Give your setting some depth and detail, but overall – great work. |

Photo Presentation: 3/5 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 7/10 Total: 38.5/50 I absolutely adore the concept of this! I think it'd have been better with just one copy of Nina, though. Probably the one on the right. And I'm not honestly the biggest fan of the word "Neon" in the background; I'd rather an actual background. That said, the ONLY thing in the background is the word, and the model isn't really still as the assignment asked. The background should be moving more than the model. However, your background is mostly black. So if you had literally everything about the Nina on the right, with a background that had a motion blur on it, she'd have looked more like she was still and it was just her poi moving. Nina looks gorgeous though even though I'm not a fan of the shoes. |

Photo Presentation: 3/5 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 7/10 Total: 39/50 Awesome idea for this assignment. It was a nice attempt at portraying her falling down the rabbit hole, but I think the pose is what throws me off. The blur could have been a bit more spiraly, but it isn’t bad. The floating objects aren’t bad either and Autumn’s styling is fun and fabulous. Her pose looks too stiff – not like she’s falling – and I’m actually wondering if it has to do with the angle the photo was taken. She looks like she’s standing and not falling. Anyway, you did a fun idea well. Good job. |

Photo Presentation: 4.5/5 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 8/10 Total: 42/50 I love this take on falling down a rabbit hole! Autumn definitely has a high fashion vibe going on with all the shimmer and shine! The pose kind of got you. I know she's supposed to look maybe confused, but she looks bored in all honesty. Kind of instead of "Oh no, where am I?" it's "Well, this is happening." There are some quality issues with the teacups and one of the cards. I love the background though! Hate to see what happens when she lands on those stiletto heels. I'd honestly wanna land on my tush than those XD |

Photo Presentation: 4/5 Overall Creativity: 12.5/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 8/10 Total: 42.5/50 You have a great eye for styling, posing, camera angles, and color! You really nailed the neon and high fashion requirements! I love this pose too!! The background is also a nice motion blur and how you added it to Victoria was nicely done. You (like many of the others), however have the whole floating model thing down. I think a reflective black floor or something would have really made this perfect. Right now, she’s just been pasted onto a background and isn’t really in a setting. |

Photo Presentation: 4.5/5 Overall Creativity: 11/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 7.5/10 Total: 40.5/50 I love Victoria's style and no-nonsense high fashion pose! Be careful about those fingers though; they look like they're warping into her hip. As with some of the others, I wish that she'd been standing on a floor or something rather than the Floating Sim Syndrome thing. She does look very pasted on, without a break in the background for a surface. She's killin' it in that blue lipstick though. And her dress and pose are totally high fashion and awesome. You've incorporated every color in the background into her outfit... except yellow, and that's really neat because it makes her POP against that one yellow line going through her middle. I really love this, yo! |

Photo Presentation: 5/5 Overall Creativity: 13/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 9/10 Total: 45.5/50 Lovely, simply fantastic! Love the colors, love the pose, love the styling, love the blur effect – and look! You even added some shadows to make it look like she’s on the ground and not just floating on a background. I will say that I wish there was a bit more of a distinction between wall and floor, but overall, one of my favorite entries. |

Photo Presentation: 4.5/5 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 7.5/10 Total: 42/50 What, they made my favorite Sims 3 bikini for Sims 4? Whaaat? I love the colors you used in Udele's outfit and it's really high fashion and awesome! I love almost everything about this. The first exception is the random mossy green on the top of her head -- looks like an avocado on her head XD She kind of also has the Floating Sim Syndrome, but less with the drop shadow in only some parts, but I can't tell what's the floor and the background... You'd expect if there's a drop shadow for there to be a floor somewhere. Finally, what I had to take off on the most, is that the model should be still, and the background should have the motion blur. Here, you kind of did the opposite. I would love in any other assignment that she looks like she's doing the slide across the floor a la Flashdance, but it should have been the background moving more than the sim, as in the example. Still, I flipping adore this. |

She’s styled beautifully ~ nice hair drawing!! I also like the very festive background and the fact that you gave us a floor for her to stand on!!! I think you were one of the only ones to actually do that!! Excellent work – no complaints! |

Photo Presentation: 4.5/5 Overall Creativity: 13.5/15 High Fashion: 9.5/10 Judge's Preference: 9/10 Total: 45.5/50 You ready for New Years or something, with Imogen here? And how did you know I adore the bokeh effect? I think you were one of the ones that nailed all my requirements for this assignment. I love that some of the shine is coming off the sequins of her skirt, but you could have added a few more really subtle ones off the side? The floor you have her on is super pretty too, just kind of wish it was more the same color scheme because it'd tend to reflect, right? Still, this is really kick-A. All them sequins, man. I think you'd have nailed it more with a more high-fashion pose and hairstyle. I've seen you do insane hairdos... would've worked great here! |

Photo Presentation: 5/5 Overall Creativity: 14/15 High Fashion: 9.5/10 Judge's Preference: 10/10 Total: 47.5/50 Excellent work this round. You really nailed the assignment with beautiful colors, excellent styling, an actual floor for Melina to stand on, and a funky pose! She looks like a model with that glare and the pose is unique and high fashion. I like the blur you added a lot. Overall, stunning! No complaints. |

Photo Presentation: 4.5/5 Overall Creativity: 14/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 9/10 Total: 46/50 Holy cow, Mizzie, you killed this! I love the whole Vegas or whatever vibe of it! The dice are so cool, they're so dynamic, and I love how part of Melina kind of got caught in one. The disco-like floor is amazing. If I had one major critique, I'd have like nothin' XD Maybe a bit stronger of a motion blur on the dice and stuff so they have some smaller lines coming off them, like you've got coming off on Melina, but a bit more subtle. Like the diagonal lines coming from them toward the top left of the photo. Just blur that a bit. More. lol. I'm really impressed with this though. |

Photo Presentation: 4/5 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 7/10 Total: 36/50 Nice job. I know you were not sure how to do this, but you seemed to do it quite well. The blur is all there as required, the neon colors are great, and you did something that only a few of you did – you gave Ashanti a floor!!!!! I was getting worried that everyone was going to just paste their models onto a background. What I’m not a huge fan of is the quality of this shot and the pose. The pose is VERY awkward and looks painful. The quality is also eh…not the blur, but the fact that Ashanti is very blurry and not so crisp and clear. Overall, though, good job. |
Photo Quality: 8.5/10
Photo Presentation: 4/5 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 8/10 Total: 41/50 Man, Ashanti should still be the Queen of Something. She's killin' it! I love your background for a few reasons. It's definitely moving on the wall part, but you've got some of her flashing by. And the floor part, that reflection is cool and still the same deal with her colors flying by and breaking up the rainbow spectrum. It's mad awesome! I just wish the photo was a bit bigger to see all those gorgeous details. But yeah this whole thing reminds me of that video where you tape crayons to a canvas and use a hair dryer to melt them... but there's a PERSON there! I love her glasses, super cool. Her shoes are nice and neon, but I think her top and shorts could be a bit more neon. Super cool still though! |
