Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 11/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 38/50 I really like this photo from a fashion standpoint. Nina looks great – she’s posed like a fashion model, she’s styled very beautifully, and the setting works nicely. There are some quality issues here, though – there’s some odd blurring and sharpening going on, as well as some glow around her body. The setting is pretty crisp and clear, which is why it stands out so much that Nina isn’t as clear. But my biggest complaint is that I’m not sure if this fits prehistoric. Native Americans and prehistoric don’t really go together (at least in my mind). I feel like this is too modern for a prehistoric photo – I’m thinking dinosaurs, cave people, saber tooth tigers, etc. |

Photo Presentation: 8.5/10 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 37/50 So as a fashion photo, this is awesome, apart from the fact that viewed in the resolution you submitted it at, it is quite blurry. However, you really missed the mark here. This is totally Native American-esque, and not even like along the lines of things scientists have found in the US dating back to prehistoric times. Her garb is reminiscent of like the 1600s, settlers coming into the US and meeting (and killing) them. So I'd have to say since her costume and dwelling is reminiscent of dress, decor, and living arrangements of centuries past after the beginning of the common era (AD) I cannot say that you completed the requirements for the assignment because this is not prehistoric. It is very pretty, but it missed the requirements for me, by far. |

This photo struck me as more Native American than pre-historic, which is unfortunate because I see a lot of potential in this photo. I think the biggest concern for me with this photo is that you have this glow around you and your team turned in a photo that, when shown at full size, is of pretty low quality. Only your face is really in focus and un-pixelated which if this was a just a headshot would be great, but there’s so much happening and so many details that I’m not able to get from this. If you were making eye contact with the camera and had just a little bit of a smirk, plus fixing the quality - you would have had a MUCH stronger and a more high-fashion-esque photo.

Photo Presentation: 10/10 Overall Creativity: 14.5/15 High Fashion: 10/10 Judge's Preference: 5/5 Total: 49/50 Wow! This is a stellar image. I love the high fashion aspect – that outfit is perfect! I also love the little dinosaurs at her feet and her nonchalant look. She looks like she’s the queen of those little guys and I really love this photo. I don’t have any complaints except that maybe her hair is a little flat around the head??? But honestly, that’s me being picky. Great work this round! |

Photo Presentation: 10/10 Overall Creativity: 13.5/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 4.5/5 Total: 46/50 So I'm assuming your model had a turkey sandwich. (Watch Jurassic Park 2.) And then those little dudes were like "Okay she's cool, she gave us a turkey sandwich and she's got killer fashion, she can be our dino goddess." I love Udele's styling with the bone bustier and claw accessories. And she's just pulling the most high fashion pose ever like Okay dinosaurs if you let them take your picture, you get more turkey. I think the shadow of Udele against the rock is a bit too harsh, but man, otherwise, you rocked this. Only other thing I could have asked for would have been a more greenery jungle canopy maybe tropical thingy background because all the greenery to the left side of the photo is just lost on the right. I also like the combination of people and dinosaurs even though that legit was not a thing, but it works for a prehistoric high fashion photo. |

Udele, what a beautiful photo. The pose is soft but strong and the addition of the baby dinosaurs by your team was a great touch. I would have liked to see more from the background, perhaps the mother of those dinosaurs lurking in the back. The lighting and shadowing here is absolutely phenomenal. I’m very impressed this round!

I love how you included Melina in this shot – it’s really a nicely edited shot! I adore that outfit, the bone in her hand, the look on her face….excellent. I also love how the dinos all look like they’re watching her as if they know she’s a bada**. She kind of looks like she might be the big baddy in their dino group. I really don’t have any complaints. Good work! |

Photo Presentation: 9/10 Overall Creativity: 14/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 5/5 Total: 45/50 OMG LONGNECKS AND THREE-HORNS. (Sorry, I grew up on Land Before Time.) It reminds me of those dinos when they were journeying to the Great Valley but not quite there yet. Not gonna spoiler cause most of you were probably not raised on that series, it was the 80s. Go watch it. But Melina looks like if they like, had a goddess that took care of them on their way. I just adore the whole setting, and Melina looks amazing and just very surreal in a good way. It's really hard to mix humans with dinosaurs as we know they didn't exist at the same time, but really, you made it work. I have like nothing to pick on with this photo. This will probably be the only time I ever give a full point judge preference. I just... it's so historically and scientifically inaccurate in the best high fashion way possible. Like, it just looks amazing. |

Melina, your team rocked this assignment. I honestly cannot find a flaw. The only change could have been choosing a photo where you had a more ferocious pose but otherwise, amazing job.

Photo Presentation: 9.5/10 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 4/5 Total: 41.5/50 Ooooh! This is a creative setup and I like it! I love the volcano peeking through the doorway of her cave!! I really do like that idea – it was unique! And the cave paintings? Nice touch to the details. I do think the pose is a little odd – I know we want high fashion, but that pose has never been my favorite for what it does to the hip region. Overall, though, you did a really good job! There are some minor quality issues around the hair, but overall, nice job! |

Photo Presentation: 8.5/10 Overall Creativity: 11/15 High Fashion: 7.5/10 Judge's Preference: 4/5 Total: 40/50 This is so modelesque, maybe a bit too modelesque. Hear me out. I think that rather than a super posed model stance, a crouched model pose would have made it look like Autumn were interacting with the fire and just kind of put the whole thing together. Her dress is super prehistoric-chic though! Can I coin that term? XD I love that it's mostly in game, if not all in game (can't tell if the backdrop for the outside of the cave is a mural in game or edited.) But I mean it fits! And I love the erupting volcano. This picture totally symbolizes the birth of human life both scientifically and romantically (not like kiss romantic, like ... you know what I mean.) For more high fashion I may have added a few bone or feather accessories. I actually kind of LOVE the not-quite eye contact because in that time, it was likely kill or be killed and in pretty much all animals, eye contact is seen as a sign of aggression so this really just kind of works. A cave-person likely would have avoided pointed, direct eye contact. Very lovely entry. |

Very fashionable, this round! You really did a great job with being inspired by the prehistoric concept. I would have liked to see some more accessories/fake tattoos on you perhaps, or just something else in the foreground with you and the fire. Also, your team chose a pretty low quality looking volcano eruption - it’s very painted. I would have liked to see something with a little more definition and dimension.

Photo Presentation: 7.5/10 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 39/50 I like that you chose a jungle setting and the animal of choice was a great one for the assignment. Your outfit is definitely high fashion and that’s great. I’m not a fan of the pose and what it does to Lexx’s face. It makes her eyes WIDEN so much that she looks a little crazy. It also stiffens her body a lot. And what’s that green thing by her forehead?? It is almost like a very odd lens flare. Your challenge photo was loads better for this assignment! |

Photo Presentation: 9/10 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 4/5 Total: 42/50 Lexx and her sabre-toothed leopard friend look like they've seen some plum haha. I think you did a really good job of editing her into her environment, and I love that bone hammer she's got with her. Cavewoman tools, yo! I feel like Lexx is really blurry though, like maybe blurred at the edges too much when you cut her out. And she's got a bit of that green screen glow. In your editing program, you can make a new layer, go over the green with skin color with a soft brush, and play with your blending modes to kinda... clean up that green a little. The styling's great though. Love that hair... I have that hair for Sims 3 but wasn't aware it'd been converted for TS4! The main thing I don't get is that Venus fly trap - looking thing she's got on the side of her face. Why? It doesn't make much sense and looks weird. Looks almost neon-green too, so it's a bit odd. Overall though very beautiful. Excellent choice in background. |

You look so striking here with that saber tooth! I would like to see you making eye contact with the camera, though. Also, your team didn’t do the best job at blending you in with the background - there are a lot of areas that are blurred near you and it appears like you have a shadow directly behind you, even towards your head. This wouldn’t happen naturally, the shadow would cast farther back. I think you have a strong picture here but there are a lot of small things that work against you and your team this round. Reman vigilant to the little details - they make or break you in this industry. Also, I would recommend relooking into your accessories, as the leaf in your hair looks odd.

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 11/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 4/5 Total: 42/50 You have seriously excellent quality! I really love the brightness and crispness of this shot. I also like the pose selection for Victoria – except for her frown. She seems to do that too much! I think this was a nice idea, but she’ snot perfectly perched on that rock. Overall, though, it isn’t a bad edit. I just think it’s a bit lacking in creativity. |

Photo Presentation: 9/10 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 3.5/5 Total: 38.5/50 This is amazing from a high-fashion editorial standpoint! I love the hair and the outfit. What I think is a bit lacking is the background and Victoria's placement on it. While the background is a similar quality to a Sim if you edit it well, she is just not placed on it as well -- she looks like she's caught a bit of floating sim syndrome. It looks like her legs have a bit of a drop shadow on the mossy rock, when it should be kind of a more puddle-ish shadow around her feet to make her look less like she's floating in front of the scene. Her right hand (our left) looks like it's merging with the dune landscape. It's just, there's not enough contrast to put her into the spotlight and in her environment at the same time. I think that'd be helped by a metallic bracelet or something if you wanted to keep this theme. Remember, there have been many discoveries of prehistoric metal working in the art and fashion aspect. I think it would have really brought the concept to life with something cool like that as a detail. Still, this is beautiful. |

What beautiful quality! Your team did a great job on styling as well. I don’t quite understand the pose they chose for you, though. Are you looking for something? I think if you would have had a spear or something in your hand like a huntress and perhaps had been squatting, this would have been a stronger photo. The background is also a little bland - even though it is very pre-civilization I would have liked to see something more in here.
