Photo Presentation: 6/10 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 7/10 Judge's Preference: 2.5/5 Total: 33/50 You chose a REALLY tough circus freak to portray. Given that, I don’t think you did terribly, but I also don’t think what you did do worked. This is too simple and obviously a cut and paste job. The abrupt cutting at her hip area makes it unrealistic as most people still have some formation going on down there. To be honest – when you selected this kind of circus freak, I was hoping you would turn Cecilia upside down and have her walking on her hands. That would have made more sense. I am a little confused as to how a person would get across a rope right-side up…scooting? The rope is another issue…it’s far too large. Tight ropes are very thin. I think also the black underneath her is a miss – a captivated audience would have worked so well here. Overall, you tried a tough idea and I applaud that, but it just didn’t work for me. |

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 37/50 So I love how you did the lighting and I actually rather like the little dust scratches because ya know, circuses are dirty! Cecilia's outfit is really interesting, but maybe her hair could have some more oomph. So basically the main issue is that she looks like she's been just straight-cropped off at the lower body and placed on the tightrope, and that's kind of jarring. Normally people missing legs even at the hip will have some kind of rounded body there, be it stumps, or just being rounded at the sides. Depends on where the legs are missing exactly. The easiest way you could have gotten that effect would be to crop her off as you did, but use the liquify or warp tool on your image editor to pull out shapes or just round the body. The rope has some pretty bad choppy issues, but if you made it smaller (tightropes are thin anyway) it would have made the choppy issue much less noticeable. I wish you hadn't cut off the top of her head... her brains are going to fall out, heehee. You're really improving by leaps and bounds for sure though! Technical issues aside, this is a really cool picture and it was actually my favorite freak concept picked of the round. *thumbs up* |

Photo Presentation: 5/10 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 2/5 Total: 33.5/50 Okay…here’s the thing – if you’re going to use a background like this (with no ground) then you best turn your photo into a poster. You could have done that. You could have made this a creative and fantastical circus poster that you’d see hung on walls around town to attract visitors. As is…Lexx is literally just pasted on and floating there. There’s nothing indicating that this would be a finished product. I adore the tattoos, the outfit, her pose, and her makeup, but I’m just let down by the overall presentation. |

Photo Presentation: 7.5/10 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 3.5/5 Total: 37.5/50 Ack, floating sim syndrome! I am honestly much more likely to not take off points if there's an actual setting that the sim could physically be in. The background here kind of feels like it's more an afterthought than a setting. However, I do like your model's outfit. The tattoos though are just of such varying quality, effect, and opacity, that they're quite jarring all put together on her body. Love the pose though, it is the sort of pose people modeling at tattoo conventions will use to show off the most of the body at once, so it works for a freak show too! So, basically, I'm not fond of the sticking her on top of a background that isn't something she could be actually standing in; it causes a disconnect. |

Photo Presentation: 9/10 Overall Creativity: 11.5/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 40/50 Nice job! You took a very tough idea and did it well. I liked the simplicity of this – that setting is perfect – and I adore the look on her face. She is a little out of proportion (bottom should be lower, more hidden behind her head) but that’s minor for me, honestly. I do think the photo lacked some real “wow” factor, though. I think that this could have been cool if you had added some text or something that acts as a poster for her act. Good work, though. |

Photo Presentation: 9.5/10 Overall Creativity: 11/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 40/50 This is really cool and I love the simplicity of it! And Nina just looking at you like "yes, I can turn my b.utt backwards, so?" XD Love the fierce look she's giving. I also appreciate that while it's pretty high fashion you didn't go super blingy and let the craziness of her talent speak for itself. Only complaint is... I'm not sure if you did pose combining or what, but her body is really out of proportion -- her torso looks like if she were standing up, it alone would be nearly three feet long! The hiney should be lower, almost behind her head. As a really minor thing, there's a bit of smudgy white around her, particularly in the hair. But this is neat! |

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 7/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 37/50 I have to admit, when you said “elephant lady” I was thinking something a bit more high fashion (kind of like America’s Next Top Model did), but was pleasantly surprised to see what you did. You went all out with her skin’s texture and a real elephant trunk. I think that is great. Your setting is great too – and humiliating for her I’m sure! Here’s where your entry gets me – it lacks high fashion appeal, the quality of the elephant trunk is VERY poor compared to the rest of the photo, and the grey spots (shadows?) come off as water puddles, not shadows. Otherwise, you did well. |

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 13/15 High Fashion: 7.5/10 Judge's Preference: 3.5/5 Total: 39/50 Oh man, elephant lady! I love it! Also the ball, and the bag of peanuts! So for high fashion, I felt it was a bit lacking. The shirt's good. Looks very ring-leader-y. The skirt is kinda... meh. The shoes are super pretty though. I'd have probably used a skirt with a pop of color like how the top's got those shades of purple, or maybe one with some frills. So I have two issues with this, both kinda being more technical. First is the body texture. It looks great, but it looks like it's just filled kind of all over her silhouette. You seemed to separate the legs pretty well but the hands look kinda like flippers as there's no detail distinguishing where fingers are. The second is the shadows under Autumn and the peanut bag and the ball. They're desaturated! So rather than being shadowy, they are areas of the photo where the color got drained out. I don't know if for your blending mode you put desaturate on, but multiply is better, sometimes overlay or soft light can work well too. But yeah, overall I love your elephant lady! |

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 10.5/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 3/5 Total: 39/50 You have some really great quality here. I love the crispness of everything in this shot. Victoria looks great here and she’s really rocking that beard! She seems proud of it too and still exudes sex appeal nicely. I think the setting (while awesome) is a little off, though. It’s not really circus – it’s more carnival (and yes, there’s a difference). I think a circus tent would have worked as a better backdrop than the swing ride. Overall, though, you did well with this task! |

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 10/15 High Fashion: 8.5/10 Judge's Preference: 4/5 Total: 39/50 You used my favorite TS4 beard! I don't like beards much irl but on sims they're cute. And Victoria actually kind of looks good in the beard... reminds me of the drag queens that do all the makeup and glitter and jazz but keep their beards and rock the whole thing gloriously. I feel like you did a really safe freak. As in the bearded lady is a very common one and it might have been more interesting to go a little more weird. I do like however that you went less circus and more state fair / carnival with the swing ride. At first I was like "that's not a circus..." but then remembered that they have freaks at carnivals too! I think you did really great with this, but it could have been a little more "out there." |

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 10/10 Judge's Preference: 3.5/5 Total: 42/50 You nailed the high fashion aspect and you also did really well with the whole concept. The many arms of Udele is a nice idea. I like that you went with a magician too, instead of like…a spider or something. She really looks great. I am a little thrown off by the lop-sided stage setting and her shadow is a little odd, it makes her pop off the shot rather than look like she’s standing on a stage. But I like the shot! |

Photo Presentation: 9.5/10 Overall Creativity: 12/15 High Fashion: 10/10 Judge's Preference: 4/5 Total: 44/50 Woah, a six-armed ringleading lady! Udele's styling looks fantastic! The sultry look she's giving is great too. I like that you tried to get the arms all coming out as close as they can rather than like sticking them all over her torso where there wouldn't be a joint. Didn't quite nail it, but I can tell you tried. It's tricky anyway. The only thing I see that bugs me in any way is her shadow; it's set up like it would be if she were in front of a wall but the floor wasn't visible. Since the floor and the wall aren't on the same plane, the shadow should bend and kind of fly out a little in one direction as well rather than be directly lined up with Udele's body. When a shadow is added like yours is, it kind of makes the sim seem like she's walking out of the background or sometimes just on top of it, rather than in it. When you make your shadow layer, try warping it. Pay attention to how it would bend and the directions it would point. But yeah, that's my only gripe, awesome job! |

Photo Presentation: 8/10 Overall Creativity: 13/15 High Fashion: 8/10 Judge's Preference: 4/5 Total: 42/50 I really like your “crow lady” – she looks so elegant here and really lovely! I will say that Melina is a part of a VERY elegant circus! I think this is the cleanest circus I’ve ever seen! I think that overall, you did a very great job here. I do think that the lighting is a bit dark – only because her wings kind of disappear a bit into the ceiling. I also wonder…is this a rehearsal? There are no people watching her soar! Good job! |

Photo Presentation: 8.5/10 Overall Creativity: 14/15 High Fashion: 9/10 Judge's Preference: 4.5/5 Total: 45/50 Is it a bird or a plane? lol Your freak is so creative! I've never heard of the crow lady before. And it's really interesting that your circus looks like a circus-themed bar/nightclub? And then random flying crow lady. I would totally go to this nightclub all the freaking time LOL I wish I could see that pretty bodysuit a little better but the mesh panels on it kinda give it that iridescent look that crows and other corvids can kinda have, so good attention to detail there! Maybe she needs a little more wacky of a hairstyle or a feather headband or something. You fit her into the background really well though and all it's really lacking is maybe a faint shadow on the floor underneath where she's flying. Snazzy job though! |
